Here is the Official List of Philippine Holidays for 2011 based on Proclamation No. 84 signed by Pres. Noynoy Aquino. You can now prepare your leaves spend some vacation time with your family by knowing in advance the 2011 Philippine Holidays. A. Regular Holidays – 2011

  • New Year’s Day – January 1 (Saturday)
  • Araw ng Kagitingan – April 9 (Saturday)
  • Maundy Thursday / Good Friday – April 21 / 22 (Thursday / Friday)
  • Labor Day – May 1 (Sunday)
  • Independence Day – June 12 (Sunday)
  • National Heroes Day – August 29 (Monday)
  • Christmas Day – December 25 (Sunday)
  • Rizal Day – December 30 (Friday)

B. Special (non-working) holidays – 2011

  • Ninoy Aquino Day – August 21 (Sunday)
  • All Saints’ Day – November 1 (Tuesday)
  • New Year’s Eve – December 31 (Saturday)

C. Other Holidays

  • 1986 EDSA People Power Revolution anniversary – February 25 (Friday)
  • Eid’l Fit’r (Last Day of Ramadan) and Eid’l Adha (Islam Feast of Sacrifice) – to be announced later, based on the Islamic calendar
